BUZY Networks (this website) is run by a local Australian company.  We are a reseller, sourcing our products directly from an officially authorised Ubiquiti distribution company.

We discovered this brand several years ago and immediately saw the potential to build this website to serve the local Australian market and make Ubiquiti products accessible and affordable.  Yep, we love the brand so much, we built this site.

The company was founded in late 2003 in San Jose, California. The name “Ubiquiti” is a semi-acronym for Ubiquity, Integrity, Interoperability and Intelligence.

It is traded on the NASDAQ and has enjoyed consistent growth as a company since listing.

Unique Name, How Did it Come About?

Ubiquiti's brand name is derived from the word "ubiquitous", meaning "present, appearing, or found everywhere", and we think it's perfect.

Being sticklers for spelling, we've noticed several misspellings of the name.  For example Ubiquity, Ubiqui, Ubiqiti, Ubiquit, Uniquiti, Ubiquitii and Ubiquitti.  This is understandable, as the word itself is unusual.
